Sometimes those days at the range just don’t go as planned. On this Mail Call Mondays we discuss how I completely screwed up the ladder test on our new .260. We also talk about the new Magnetospeed V3 Chronograph.

It would appear that your range assistant that day was that Mr. Murphy fellow! I was wondering where he had gotten himself off to….
Thanks for the mention about the MagnetoSpeed V3. I’ve been thinking about getting one, and, based on your limited comment, I’m ordering one right now from Graf’s.
Semper fi, Marine.
Refreshing to see that others have days like you related as well. I surely have.
Have you ever tried the OCW test? I recently tried the OCW test on three different rifles and it revealed where to go with load development. Certainly saves a lot of time and components.
I know what it is like to have bad days at the range. Maybe a tripod mounted to a weighted board would work on windy days. Get some good footage, I want to know more about this ladder testing, I want to do my 308.
