After a long absence, our tactical nylon gear is available again. The first release is our simple “Bean Bag”. It is 6″ x 6″ x 1″ and constructed of 1000D Cordura Nylon. We used poly-pellets for the fill and it comes in at 14 oz. We added a 1″ webbing loop so you can attach it to your sling, pack, or whatever you need. We kept the price point as low as we could while still manufacturing it in the USA! At $22 we think this is a great, compact, general purpose bean bag. Patches are back!
After more than a few requests, our Pinup Girl patches are back! You will notice a few small changes from our last version. The new patches are slightly smaller, because they are contoured instead of square. They measure 3″ x 3″ and are made here in the USA by a Veteran owned company! Mail Call Mondays Season 5 #1 – 2016 SHOT Show Industry Day
We are back with Season 5 of “Mail Call Mondays”! Thanks to all of our viewers for putting up with us for this long. This week we discuss the SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range. This was held the Monday prior to the SHOT Show at the Boulder City Range. It was a great time and gave us the chance to get “hands on” with some new gear. What at first looked like an interesting set of grips, turned out to be a novel, inexpensive way to add a light rail to an slick 1911. The product has gone through some changes. American Built Arms Mod*X Chassis Review
We have used and reviewed a variety of chassis systems for bolt action rifles. At this point you would think that we would be tired of breaking out our test-action and bolting it into another. However each time we try a new chassis, we find things we like, dislike and may have never considered before. When American Built Arms contacted us to take a look at their Mod*X chassis, we humbly accepted.
The AB Arms, Mod*X Chassis is an “AR Type” chassis system. It utilizes an aluminum center section that accepts AR type buttstocks and pistol grips. The forend tube is similar to the railed hand guards used on AR rifles, but uses a proprietary attachment, unique to the Mod*X. Standard AR rail systems will not work on the Mod*X.
