  1. Great video on the Remington Triggers, I have an early 308 syn. varm. and it is at 3.5# and works well for target and hunting. Will you ever talk or us and M1???

    1. We don’t currently have an M1A in inventory. They are not well suited to precision rifle work. That’s not to say we won’t ever get around to it, we just haven’t yet.

  2. Thank you for covering this issue. We are still getting used to the new trigger after we sent in our guns. We toyed with several options: 1) send the rifles in for recall 2) replace triggers with non Remington trigger 3) replace our rifles (we are at the end of our barrel life, we were faced with this added expense anyway). After test firing other rifles and then seeing the priceses of good alternatives, we chose to do the recall and see what the triggers felt like. Available money was of course another consideration. When we got the rifles back we had to run qualifications and test our dope all over. After several months this new trigger still feel weird however it has not effected my shooting. This still leaves us with barrels that need to be replaced, but that can be spread over several budgets. It still leaves a black mark on Remington for having this recall (good for them to do it of course). Keep up the good work!

  3. I sent my Rem700 SPS off to the factory for the recall in July…… Just got the email yesterday that they are sending it back now (end of Oct)…..sigh!
